Trex deck in Warrenton, VA

This beautiful deck features an existing open porch and a custom 12 ft by 12 ft octagon-shaped space. We removed the existing decking and railings and replaced them with Trex brand decking and a vinyl maintenance-free railing system that matched and made the deck look like one cohesive piece that had been installed at the same time. The accent cocktail railing is a popular choice that allows the deck railing to be used as another surface.

The main color for the floor of the deck (spiced rum) is accented by a decorative border that goes around the perimeter of the project and ties in with the railings and the staircase. The railing system for the octagon space is an almond color, as opposed to the regular bright white of most builds, to match the trim color of the family’s house.

The family turned the space into an inviting hangout spot by adding some outdoor couches and a gas firepit.
